A red, yellow, and blue sawtooth quilt held up in a yard under a tree.

Martha Guzman

Quilter and ukulele player. The quilts below are finished pieces from her own photographs. The songs are the ones she charts and practices. They are not claimed as songs she wrote.

Quilts

These are finished quilts from her Completed folder, photographed at a show or at home. Pattern books and other designers’ instructions were in the same archive and are not shown here.

Homecoming House blocks, a small tree, and a striped border, hung at a show. The wall sign reads Expressions. Dated May 4, 2014. A rose quilt hangs beside it.
Crazy quilt, fall colors Orange, brown, and floral patches, held outdoors. The photo shows hands and shoes, not a face.
Spring Breezes Red, yellow, and blue sawtooth blocks, held in a yard. A hand is visible at the top edge.
Flower wreath Applique wreath, pinwheel center, and a flying-geese border, photographed flat. The file name is Flower Wreath Quilt.
Scrap nine-patch Yellow ground, white setting triangles, and scrap nine-patch blocks. Photographed outdoors. The file name is Scrapy Nine-Patch.
Harvest Time Fruit and flower runner with a red and gold frame, hung at a show on May 4, 2014. The wall card reads Fall Harvest.
Peacock quilt A finished quilt of commercial peacock print and a blue-and-gold checkerboard, hung in a sewing room. The peacock drawing is a fabric print, not an original painting. A Peacock Pizzazz pattern by Ann Lauer is a known commercial design of this kind.

Music

One recording in her folder is labeled as her own singing. De Colores is a traditional song, so that recording is here. The other audio is class tracks, bought music, or covers of songs still owned by their writers. Those are not posted.

De Colores, sung by Martha Guzman. Traditional song, from her file De Colores by me. Click the cover to play. The picture is an illustration made for this page, not a photograph.

Crafts

The handmade work with clear photographs is the quilting. The knitting, crochet, sewing, and paper-craft folders are mostly patterns by other people: Stacy Schlyer, Jacquelynne Steves, Hattifant, and various free baby-hat and tote patterns. Those files are not hers to publish, and there were no photos of finished knitted or sewn goods separate from the quilts.

Writing

Her stories are on the writing page. Pick a book. The covers are illustrations made for this site, not photographs.

Painting

No finished paintings of hers were in this share. Saved pages in Art Pages include Diana Guzman’s Instagram paintings. Those stay off this site.

Shop

The pieces above are the work. This page does not take a card, and it does not sell shirts, mugs, or hats. There is no print shop connected, and inventing prices would be a guess. If a quilt is available, or if you want one made in the same spirit, that has to be arranged off this page until an address is added.

Asking about a piece

Nothing here charges a card. A contact address has not been published on this site yet. Family can add one, and then each quilt can carry an ask link.
